Auf dem offiziellen Board hat ein Entwickler mal wieder ein paar Infos raus gelassen:

land mines and destructible terrain: Landmines are still a possibility, but no on the destructable terrain, especially burning down trees. As Tetris pointed out, every forest on every continent would be burned to the ground on the first day, and would be burned down again and again the moment they regenerate. It would also be a server nightmare to update every client about every single tree's "state" if you will.

hacking and vehicle jacking in stealth suits: I believe so, yes, but you may be exposed somewhat.

whether PlanetSide will replace Tanarus: Tanarus will continue to operate as a free game on www.station.sony.com, so the answer is no, PlanetSide will not replace Tanarus.
